Hector
Jr. Ibarra October 31, 1995 - March 2, 2010.
Hector passed away on March 3, 2010. He had been
diagnosed with Hepatocellular (liver) carcinoma at stage
four on February 6, 2010. Hector was born October 31,
1995 in Bakersfield to "Molly" Amalia Perez and Hector
Rocha Ibarra. Hector loved and had a great passion to
play sports. He played baseball for SOT and Fairfax
League. He was involved in Tae Kwon Do. He also played
football for Golden Empire Youth Football from 2004 to
2007. He graduated from Sierra Jr. High in May of 2009.
He had been currently attending Mira Monte High School,
in his freshman year. He was a very respectful, loving
young man and was eager to learn. He had a goal of
becoming an Architect Engineer, after high school. His
favorite sport teams were the L.A. Lakers, L.A. Dodgers
and the Oakland Raiders. He loved his pets, a Saint
Bernard "Sebastian", a Bischon Frise "Ziggy" and a White
Dove "Night Hawk". Hector had an enormous love and great
faith for Jesus Christ. He loved to attend Mass at Our
Lady of Guadalupe Church on Sundays. After Mass he
enjoyed dining out at a buffet style restaurant. His
favorite places to dine in were Rueben's Mexican
Restaurant, Rusty's Pizza Parlor and Panda Palace.
Hector loved and looked forward to his maternal Grandma
Raquel's cooking, especially Tamales at Christmas time.
Hector loved to travel out of town with his family and
friends. Camping at Pismo Beach, Las Vegas, Universal
Studios, Ensenada, Mexico. Family was very important to
Hector. He loved and cherished all his family and
friends.
In honor of Hector Ibarra and his family, Far East
Titans would like to dedicate our 2010 Season to Hector
Ibarra. To a young man who brought the best out of
everyone. You will be missed and cherished.
