Golden Empire Youth Tackle Football & Cheer

Hector Ibarra Jr. (1995 - 2010)

Hector Jr. Ibarra October 31, 1995 - March 2, 2010.

Hector passed away on March 3, 2010. He had been diagnosed with Hepatocellular (liver) carcinoma at stage four on February 6, 2010. Hector was born October 31, 1995 in Bakersfield to "Molly" Amalia Perez and Hector Rocha Ibarra. Hector loved and had a great passion to play sports. He played baseball for SOT and Fairfax League. He was involved in Tae Kwon Do. He also played football for Golden Empire Youth Football from 2004 to 2007. He graduated from Sierra Jr. High in May of 2009. He had been currently attending Mira Monte High School, in his freshman year. He was a very respectful, loving young man and was eager to learn. He had a goal of becoming an Architect Engineer, after high school. His favorite sport teams were the L.A. Lakers, L.A. Dodgers and the Oakland Raiders. He loved his pets, a Saint Bernard "Sebastian", a Bischon Frise "Ziggy" and a White Dove "Night Hawk". Hector had an enormous love and great faith for Jesus Christ. He loved to attend Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Sundays. After Mass he enjoyed dining out at a buffet style restaurant. His favorite places to dine in were Rueben's Mexican Restaurant, Rusty's Pizza Parlor and Panda Palace. Hector loved and looked forward to his maternal Grandma Raquel's cooking, especially Tamales at Christmas time. Hector loved to travel out of town with his family and friends. Camping at Pismo Beach, Las Vegas, Universal Studios, Ensenada, Mexico. Family was very important to Hector. He loved and cherished all his family and friends.

In honor of Hector Ibarra and his family, Far East Titans would like to dedicate our 2010 Season to Hector Ibarra. To a young man who brought the best out of everyone. You will be missed and cherished.
